Our aim is to nurture young people's talent by offering support, providing hands-on skills, and building self-esteem. We strongly believe that everyone should be given the opportunity to find a career that they enjoy.

Ore Projects Mentoring Scheme was set up by RubinoWilson, the design duo responsible for world-class fabrication projects, workshops and events. Daniela Rubino and Lauren Wilson run the project from their workshop in Hertfordshire.

We work with local 16-25 year olds from Hertfordshire and the surrounding areas, offering free classes in metal fabrication.

We cover a variety of skills through projects that are tailored to each group, including SEND and SEMH schools.

Our aim is to make a difference to the following statistics;

  • Only 15.7% of the current engineering workforce are female.

  • The number of pupils taking D&T at GCSE level have fallen
    68% in the last decade.

  • The UK may need an additional 250,000 tradespeople by 2030 to meet demand.

We promote growth through skills, knowledge and support.
